George Washington Takes an Incredible Trip into the Unknown!
The Story: I'm sure you've all heard the story of George Washington crossing the Delaware River during the battle of Trenton in 1776. But there's a strange tale about this even that the history books seem to have left out. It seems that as Washington was crossing the Delaware with his troops they encountered very rough waters not to mention huge pieces of ice. As Washington stood perched surveying the river, the boat struck an unseen piece of ice just below the surface.
Washington fell from the boat into the icy river. (DROP DISK INTO GLASS) the troops frantically tried to rescue their leader but the ice and rough water made it impossible. George Washington, The Father of our Country, had apparently drowned. Now for the really weird part, As the saddened troops finally reached the opposite side of the river they were stunned to see George Washington standing on the bank without a scratch and bone dry! Needless to say the attack on the English went on as scheduled. (THE GLASS IS SHOWN EMPTY and THE COIN IS REPRODUCED from the POCKET)
The Theory: Some say George Washington fell into a type of Time Vortex that projected him into the future and across the river. Washington had absolutely no recollection of what happened after hitting the ice water. He never spoke of the event again.
